Train Chaos collects no data
Train Chaos collects no data. The game never uses the network: it works completely offline, with no account or sign-in, no ads, no purchases, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code. It sends nothing to the developer or to any other company. The App Store privacy answer for Train Chaos is “Data Not Collected”.
The game asks for no permissions. There is no tracking prompt, and it does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications.
What is saved on your iPhone
Your bests, medals, unlocked maps, tutorial progress and settings (music, sound effects, haptics and Reduce motion) are saved in one file in the game’s own storage on your iPhone, and in your own device backups if you make them. A run in progress is not saved. Nothing else is stored: no identifiers, no usage logs and no crash reports.
If the save file cannot be read, for example because it was damaged, the game tells you, starts fresh and keeps a copy of the old file on your iPhone. The developer cannot see, retrieve or restore your saved progress.
Deletion and device backups
Deleting the app deletes its saved progress and settings. Train Chaos has no account or cloud sync of its own, so reinstalling starts fresh unless your iPhone restores the app’s data from a backup.
Like other app data, the save file may be included in your iCloud or computer backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are controlled by you, Apple and your backup provider; the developer cannot see them. Manage or delete them through those services. Deleting the app does not remove copies in earlier backups.
Support email
If you email hello@jordydekoning.com, your email provider and mine process your address, message and any attachments. I use the information you choose to send to answer your question or investigate the reported problem. Please send only what is needed and avoid sensitive personal information. You can contact me about a previous support message or a privacy concern.
The game does not upload diagnostic reports, screenshots or saves. Contacting support is your choice and is separate from playing the offline game.
This website and other services
Visiting jordydekoning.com is separate from using Train Chaos. This website uses counter.dev web analytics and loads fonts from Google. The website host, analytics and font providers may process technical connection information such as your IP address, browser information and requested page. These services are not part of Train Chaos and never receive anything from the game.
Other apps on this website have their own features and policies. Your operating system, backup provider and email provider handle their respective services independently.
Your choices and contact
You can play offline without an account, decide whether to contact support, manage your device backups and remove everything the game has saved by deleting the app.
